As the new year is in full swing I figured I’d take the opportunity on this post to talk about what Raster Media is all about, what we do, how we do it and why you should care.

Like any new year we all hit the ground running when the date ticks over, 2010 is not different. I find myself reinvigorated and ready to network, meet new people, go out after work, and do everything again I let slip in Q4 because I was just “tired.”

As more and more people follow this blog I hope you understand the type of company we are and the levels of service we can provide but it never hurts to spell it out nice and clear.

Raster Media is celebrating our 7th year in business this month, pretty respectable in my opinion. When you think about any company you know that’s been in business this long you know they offer a service and /or product that is truly exceptional.

Our business has survived on the word-of-mouth referral style of business that Las Vegas is known for. We owe this success to you, our clients, and I’d like to take the opportunity to thank you for giving us the chance to show you what we are capable of.

For those of you who don’t know us, here’s a handy list of reasons you should use Raster Media for your software development resource.

1) Professional Resource – we are not a guy working out of his dark basement, we are a professional, full-service software design firm that will not just take orders, disappear and come back with a poorly designed website or system in a few months.

2) All our work is done in house – we are not a front for a development team in India, Brazil, Canada or any other location known for it’s “cheap” development work.
